ScanSeva (scanseva.in) is an India-focused news digest that scans public service announcements, national and citizen-centric updates, and regional news for Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Delhi NCR, and presents them as short, plain-language summaries — in English and, where relevant, in Marathi, Bengali, and Hindi.

What ScanSeva does

We monitor official sources (such as the Press Information Bureau, central ministries, and state government portals) as well as publicly available RSS feeds from news outlets, and generate short summaries of items we judge relevant to ordinary citizens — scheme deadlines, exam notifications, weather and safety alerts, and local government updates. Every summary links back to the original source.

What ScanSeva does not do

• Summaries are generated with the assistance of AI and may occasionally be incomplete or imprecise — always verify important information (deadlines, eligibility, official rates) against the linked original source.
